2024 Summer Mixer & Fundraiser
Through our 2024 Summer Mixer, we raised $4,750. Some of those funds will be reinvested into future fund-raising efforts and events.
A significant portion was donated to the following non-profit organizations serving the Cape Cod’s senior community:
ELDER SERVICES CAPE COD
Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands, Inc. is a nonprofit, community-based organization dedicated to promoting welfare, enhancing the quality of life, and maintaining the dignity of elders in Barnstable, Dukes (except Gosnold), and Nantucket Counties. The organization acts as a central source for information and referral, as an advocate, collaborator, and catalyst, as a coordinator of services and care, as an educator, and as a provider of direct services.
BAY TO SOUND NEIGHBORS
Bay to Sound Neighbors is dedicated to helping older residents of Yarmouth and Dennis on Cape Cod continue to live in their own homes as they age, safely and comfortably.
Through the support of volunteers, we offer “neighborly” services that include rides to appointments, small home and garden tasks, and friendly visits, just to name a few. Our volunteers deliver services for our members that are essential for continuing to age effectively in the neighborhoods we all cherish.
POTTED PLANTS FOR SENIORS, INC.
Potted Plants for Seniors, Inc. delivers decorated Potted Plants that are decorated by community centers, youth groups, volunteers, schools, and other members of the community to seniors and veterans at home, long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living, senior centers, Council on Aging, Meals on Wheels, senior housing complexes, and many, many events, times a year.
It was a pleasure to have representatives from each organization on hand at our August 15 CCSRG networking event to accept our donations.
