Elder Services of Cape Cod & Islands, Inc.

Cape Cod and the Islands has been helping people in Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket Counties get the information and services they need.

The organization acts as a central source for information and referral, as an advocate, collaborator, and catalyst, as a coordinator of services and care, as an educator, and as a provider of direct services.

We’re here to make your life easier. For many individuals and families, the first call to Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands is an introduction to a puzzling array of programs and long-term care services. We’ll help you bypass the confusion to find the right services for you.

We offer in home support services, such as homemaking, home health aides, companions, grocery shopping, and laundry. We run the local Meals on Wheels Nutrition Program and offer Caregiver Services. Plus, a whole lot more!

As an Area Agency on Aging, we receive both State and Federal funds, which allow us to offer affordable, low-cost, and free services.

We are non-profit and non-sectarian, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of our seniors by ensuring them equal access to social, economic, and political systems in a safe, secure, and comfortable environment. Our center was built in 1991. It is fully air-conditioned in the summer months and we have plenty of parking for all visitors. We have rooms to accommodate small gatherings as well as large community events and productions. A large kitchen allows us to host cooking classes as well as community meals. A congregate lunch is available Monday – Friday, all year. In nice weather, the outside deck serves as a place of relaxation. So that our seniors remain integrated with the general population at large, our center welcomes all ages to visit and share time and talents.
