At The Terraces Orleans, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care in a setting that feels warm, welcoming, and truly like home. Located on beautiful Cape Cod, our skilled nursing community offers a peaceful environment where residents and their families can feel supported, respected, and cared for every step of the way.
We are a private-pay community with 33 rooms, all of which are private and include a full bathroom. This allows each resident to enjoy comfort and dignity, while also making their space their own with familiar furnishings, photos, and meaningful belongings. Our goal is to create an environment that feels less like a facility and more like home.
At the heart of The Terraces Orleans is our commitment to putting “Care” first in everything we do. Our dedicated team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants provide 24/7 skilled nursing care tailored to each resident’s unique needs. We take the time to truly get to know the individuals we care for—their preferences, routines, and what brings them comfort – so that we can deliver care that is not only clinical, but deeply personal.
In addition to daily nursing care, residents benefit from the support of an on-site Medical Director and Nurse Practitioner who visit regularly, as well as access to a range of additional services including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, podiatry, dental care, nutrition services, and social work support. This comprehensive approach ensures that each resident receives well-rounded care focused on both their health and overall well-being.
Dining is an important part of daily life at The Terraces Orleans. Our culinary team prepares three meals each day, along with snacks, with attention to both nutrition and enjoyment. We work closely with residents to accommodate dietary needs and preferences, creating meals that are both satisfying and comforting.
Life at The Terraces Orleans is about more than care – it’s about connection, engagement, and meaningful moments. Our Activities team offers a variety of programs designed to meet residents where they are, whether that means social gatherings, creative activities, or simply enjoying conversation and companionship. We believe that even the smallest moments – a shared laugh, a visit from a loved one, or time spent outdoors – can have a meaningful impact.

Looking ahead, The Terraces Orleans continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of our community. We are currently developing a newly renovated, secure memory care neighborhood – Legacy Care at The Terraces Orleans – pending AGE certification, which will expand our ability to support individuals living with memory loss in a specialized, thoughtfully designed setting. This addition reflects our ongoing commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care for a wide range of needs.
